Here is a brief bio for each of our staff;
Michael Lehman, EA, ATA, ATP
Our firm is owned by Michael Lehman, a tax accountant with over 25 years of full-time tax experience. Mike graduated from the University of Alaska with a degree in both business and accounting. He passed the Federal Enrollment Exam in 1977 and has been a practicing Enrolled Agent (see our "Credentials" page) ever since.
Following college Mike worked several years for one of Alaska's older public accounting firms. It was during this time the Alaska Pipeline was under construction and his firm provided accounting services to many contractors involved in the project.
Mike is experienced in most tax areas but specializes in small businesses using QuickBooks accounting. Among our diverse client base are hoteliers, restaurants, realtors, contractors, medical service providers and retailers, to name a few.
In 1981 Mike went into private practice in Seattle. He simultaneously served as the finance manager of a medium sized manufacturing company he and several partners owned. After several successful years, Mike sold both businesses and relocated full-time to Palm Springs.
In addition to being an Enrolled Agent, Mike is accredited in both accounting and taxation. He is a member of the National Society of Accountants and became QuickBooks© certified in 2005.

Kay Creed
Kay Creed is a Southern California native that has worked in the accounting field over 20 years. She manages our accounting department and oversees a large number of business clients. She is also our payroll expert and keeps on top of all personnel related regulations.
In addition to accounting, Kay is certified in QuickBooks© and provides training to our clients that choose to handle their bookkeeping in-house. She also provides part-time controller services to a number of clients, which is a cost effective alternative to companies not requiring a full time administrator.
